MileWise is currently offered free of charge during our early-access phase. This means you can sign up, capture trips, calculate distances, generate reimbursement reports, and connect your calendar without payment. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. If and when that happens, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and give you the option to export your data before any billing begins.
By using this service, you agree to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We strongly recommend enabling any two-factor or identity-verification options we may offer.
You retain ownership of your trip data, client addresses, and mileage records. You can export your claim reports (PDF/CSV) at any time from the application. If the service is discontinued, we will provide at least 60 days notice and an extended data-export window.
The service integrates with Google Maps, Google Places, and optionally Google Calendar. Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms:
We do not store your Google credentials. Authentication is handled via OAuth tokens that you can revoke at any time from your Google Account security settings.
While we aim for 24/7 availability, the free service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may perform maintenance with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or claims resulting from service downtime. You are strongly encouraged to download and back up your claim reports regularly.
Distance calculations rely on third-party mapping APIs and are provided for estimation purposes only. You remain responsible for verifying distances against your own records or employer requirements before submitting claims. We do not provide tax, legal, or financial advice.
You may delete your account and data at any time from within the application. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app banner. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably.
